In September of 2006 we attended our first Apicultural course and began keeping a few of our own hives on our farm. It wasn’t long before our fascination for the Honey Bee grew and along with that our hunger to not only grow in number but best care for for that we began keeping What began as a passion for derived from a love for the outdoors a passion for a passion for the dynamic father & son duo combine two generations of beekeeping experience.
Behind the Veil
At Arkhive Apiculture, we intend to let you know exactly who is behind the veil and bring you in on some of what it looks like to farm with bees.
We are constantly looking at our own operation and questioning “why we do what we do” and more importantly “how do we improve the way that we do it”.
It’s left a lot of room for new ideas and ultimately what we find to be – better ways of beekeeping.
